Last month, four new screenshots of Vicarious Visions’ Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy leaked online showing off the remastering work of Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. Today, publisher Activision released the first official gameplay footage of Crash Bandicoot 2 in its new remastered form.

The new footage showcases the game's "Hang Eight" stage, which is the third level of the first warp room. Further, it reprises the "stream" level archetype of of the original Crash Bandicoot, where Crash must travel up a stream all while avoiding falling in the water. Additionally, the level (and new footage) features Crash riding on a jet board, and avoiding hazards such as water mines, whirpools, piranhas, venus fly traps, and the water itself.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is set to release for PS4 on June 30, 2017 for $39.99 USD. Below, you can check out the new gameplay footage:
