Revealed as one of the big surprises during last year's E3 2016 at Sony's press conference, the upcoming Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy is sure to bring in waves of nostalgia to gamers from the 90s, while the remastered release may not necessarily be tied to just Sony's consoles.Tweets from the PlayStation Ireland Twitter account in regard to Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy - an upcoming remastered collection of the first three Crash Bandicoot titles - seem to indicate that the collection's release on PS4 will be a timed-exclusive and "coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first."The clarification is in reference to a comment that PlayStation Ireland made on Twitter in response to a fan question (as seen in an image from NeoGAF) where the company stated that the collection "will be PS4 exclusive" - the tweet, however, has since been deleted and instead the account provided the clarification that it will release on PS4 first. While no official announcement has been provided by publisher Activision or developer Vicarious Visions at this time, Sony's comments seem to indicate that Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy will be a timed-exclusive release on PS4, and that it could see a release (down the line) on other platforms - similar to the situation around the upcoming (and long-awaited) Final Fantasy VII Remake.Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy will release for PS4 on June 30th, 2017.
