Crime Drama Again Gets Release Date, TrailerIf you’re aching for a crime drama that you can take with you wherever you go, you might want to look into Again, the upcoming Nintendo DS game from Tecmo Koei, developed by CiNG.  In this title you’ll take over the life of FBI agent Jonathan Weaver (they are always FBI agents…), as he looks for clues to a murder that happened nearly 20 years previous.  This murder, of course, has a personal attachment to Weaver, as it was his family that was killed and he was the only survivor.  The entire drama is set in a fictional 1990s-era New Jersey and is supposedly getting some pretty good comments already.  Hit the jump to check out some of the game’s features from the press release and the new trailer.

Here are some of the game’s features, quoted from Tecmo Koei in hopes of getting you excited for this title.

  • Clever Storyline: Again presents an intriguing, suspenseful storyline, apart from the linear, that is full of unexpected twists.
  • Dual-Screen Past and Current Vision: Explore the clues of crime scenes by using “Past Vision” powers, and uncover secrets of the evidence in “Current Vision”.
  • Stylized Presentation: Like a novel, players hold the DS in a vertical orientation.  There are dual 3D screens, a unique interface, and a use of actors and past events played out in full-motion video sequences.
  • Mind-Bending Puzzles: Advance your way through cases by solving puzzles to get one step closer to unveiling the mystery.

And check the video below…

If all that sounds up your alley, look for Again to hit store shelves on March 30, 2010, and check out its official site in the mean time.
