Recently, Sinxsoft has announced that they have pulled their dark Japanese-style RPG Cross Reverie due to the company securing a private investor.
The company explains that with this expanded budget, they are allowed to add in some of the content stretch goals it really wanted like the Story Arcs Twins of Darkness & Legacy of the Ancients as well as some other perks. However, the will still have to use premade environments for some locations, not upgrade their 2 year old artworks and probably pallette swap a bunch for enemies.
They also revealed the reason they went with a private investor was because they wanted to bring Cross Reverie to all of the planned platforms, which were part of the stretch goals in the Kickstarter. The game will be coming to PC on Q3 2016, and then Sinxsoft will start working on the console ports in the order of PS4/Vita, WiiU and Xbox One to accommodate all their fans regardless of platform.
