According to a tweet sent out by Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, the PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 will have a cross-save functionality added via a PlayStation 3 patch this Tuesday, May 20th.

This added functionality will now allow a gamer to continue playing the same save file on both devices, which will come to pleasure of many gamers who purchased the $200 bundle with the PS Vita Slim that didn’t have the cross-save functionality enabled.
