Long-anticipated since its initial announcement back in 2014, Studio MDHR’s Cuphead is set to launch at the end of this month. To commemorate the release of the upcoming Xbox One/PC title, Microsoft is throwing a launch party for the 1930s-era run-and-gun shooter.

According to Microsoft, the launch party will commence later this month at the iconic Meltdown Comics and Collectibles store in Los Angeles, California. The party will begin at 7:00 PM and will conclude at 11:00 PM PST, and fans intending on coming to the event can enjoy an assortment of light refreshments as well as a 1930s-themed environment. Additionally, the celebration will feature playable kiosks with demos of the game, while the game's creators, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, will also be attending.

The event is free to the public and you can RSVP your spot to the event on Eventbrite here. Keep in mind that the spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you would like more information on the game, you can check out a new gameplay video, some delightful screenshots, and artwork, as well as a behind-the-scenes video showing the creation of the title's soundtrack.

Cuphead is set to be released on Xbox One and PC on September 29th, 2017.
