Cygames Gives Update on FFXII’s Directors Upcoming Mobile RPG Lost Order

on January 2, 2017 3:31 AM

In an interview with Famitsu, development staff gave a small update on the briefly revealed Cygames and Platinum Games co-developed project Lost Order from Director Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy XII, Tactics Ogre), coming to iOS and Android in Japan.

The update addressed the lack of information that followed the reveal of the game back in August during the Cygames NEXT 2016 event in Tokyo. Evidently, the staff states that the game’s development is “70% or so” finished.

Currently, Lost Order is set to be a real time tactics game and feature 3D characters with team organization and tactical elements. Furthermore, since the reveal of the game didn’t follow with a press release, the studio assures fans that they will be able to reveal more in early 2017.

Additionally, the team is confident in the quality of the game and hopes fans can look forward to it.
