D.I.C.E. Awards Nominees Announced with Uncharted 4 and Inside Leading the Pack

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Announces the Nominees for the D.I.C.E. peer-voted Awards, with Uncharted 4 and Inside getting ten nods each.

Today the The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 20th D.I.C.E. Awards, that will happen on February 23rd in Las Vegas and will also be livestreamed for everyone to see.

Finalists were selected by the Academy’s “Peer Panels” and Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and PlayDead’s Inside are at the top, with ten nominations each.

Both games are nominated for overall Game of the Year, alongside Overwatch, Pokémon Go and Battlefield 1. Winners will be selected via internal vote among academy members.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Jessica Chobot and Greg Miller.

Two more categories will provide awards for new technologies like virtual reality and augmented reality, the Immersive Reality Game of the Year and the Immersive Reality Technical Achievement Award. Nominees for those awards will be announced at a later date.

On top of the nominees listed above, the Academy will also honor Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Director Todd Howard with the induction in the awards’ Hall of Fame.
