Sadly, D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die and Deadly Premonition Director Hidetaka Suehiro is taking a break from video games, to recover from his reactive hypoglycemia.

Suehiro revealed the news in on Access Games’ blog, saying that he needs a short break from video games, in order to focus on recovering.

“Starting today, I will be taking a short break from game development, in order to focus on recovering from reactive hypoglycemia. I’m already slow enough at making games as it is, and I feel like all I ever do is make my fans wait… But I’ve decided that I need to take a rest here, so that I can hopefully continue to make games in the future.”

However, he promises to make “better and more awesome” games once he recovers from his illness.

“When I recover from my illness, I’m going to do my best to make games that are better and more awesome than ever before!”

My main and favorite thing to do in my life is play video games on my PS4 and admire the work that has been done in each game whether it's an AAA or an indie. Games are games no matter how many people develop it, it's the passion and hard work behind it. I am a crazy fan of Game of Thrones and love to read National Geographic magazines.
