Back in October, child-projectile sim Dad Quest jumped onto Early Access. Now the title is ready for a full release on Steam coming February 23rd. And to celebrate the launching of children, developer Sundae Month has put together a launch trailer for our viewing pleasure.

For those unfamiliar, Dad Quest features a dad who must care for his little boy or girl. To do this, he will use them like a weapon, give them toys to boost their stats, upgrade them via an RPG mechanic, and figure out the secret of Dad Island.

Other interesting features include:

  • Two playable “Dads,” one masculine and one feminine
  • Collect “Dadges” from legendary Dad Bosses to unlock new Dad movement abilities and ensure your place on Dad Island
  • Discover the “Bad Dads” of legend and teach your Child the importance of good values
  • Procedurally varied levels for hours of fun gameplay and replayability

The 'comedic action-adventure platformer' currently only plans to release on PC. The game will cost $7.99 USD and for the first week, will be discounted 25%. Here's hoping that the game hits all the right marks for humor and fun gameplay. Also maybe one day dear old Dad will find himself on consoles as well.
