The first full body controller free dance game is available for you today in the form of Dance Central by Harmonix and MTV Games, exclusively for Kinect. MTV Games and Microsoft held a launch party for the game last night in Times Square which featured performances by Ne-Yo and Lady Sovereign, who celebrated that their songs "Because of You" and "I Got You Dancing" respectively are among the game's first downloadable content. Along with Sean Paul's "Temperature", the downloadable songs are available today for $2.99 each (240 MSP). All DLC for the game also comes with new choreography and routines for each difficulty level.

How do you feel about the pricing for these? It's a bit more expensive than songs for other music related games out there which arguably involve just as much work behind the scenes, although I wouldn't say it's too expensive. Dance Central is one of Kinect's most anticipated games by a lot of people, I wonder how many people will pick it up before picking up the peripheral itself.
