Danganronpa Stage Play Greenlit for Japan, Reveal Trailer Released

Tokyo Creative studio Cornflakes revealed today that a stage play for cult-hit visual novel Danganronpa has been officially green-lit. The play, titled Danganronpa The Stage ~Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubo no Koukousei (mouthful I know), will cover the events of the first game.

23-year old actor Kanata Hongo will play protagonist Mokoto Naegi. Danganronpa The Stage will be performed at Nihon Seinenkan’s Main Hall in Tokyo from October 29th to November 3th. You can watch the reveal trailer posted below and check out my review of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc here.
