Originally released in the beginning of the year, the gothic dungeon crawler Darkest Dungeon quickly drew praise from fans and critics for its intense difficulty and classic RPG action, with the title having officially confirmed for release on PlayStation consoles in just over a month.

In an update on the PlayStation Blog, Darkest Dungeon has been confirmed to release for PS4 and PS Vita on September 27th, 2016, with the PlayStation release to include the original game and additional content, such as new hero classes and Town Events for players to enjoy.

Darkest Dungeon will retail for $24.99, and the game will support Cross-Buy and Cross-Save between the PS4 and PS Vita, allowing users to get the title for both platforms at one price and share saves between both platforms. A 20% discount will also be in place on the title for PlayStation Plus subscribers that purchase the game.

Darkest Dungeon is available now on PC and Mac, with the game to release for PS4 and PS Vita on September 27th, 2016 - a Linux version will also arrive later this year.
