Darkness Sequel Announced

on July 27, 2009 2:07 PM

Anyone recall Jackie Estecado? The Italian badass from multiplatform FPS The Darkness that went around consuming hearts and faces? No? Well then, you probably won’t give two shits about this post.  However, if you are familiar with the ass-kicking, spirit possessed serial killer, you’ll be happy to hear that Top Cow Productions, the developers of The Darkness finally announced that a follow-up to the praised title during Comic-Con is in the oven.

Top Cow also announced that the original game will soon be added to the PlayStation 3’s and Xbox’s greatest hits value soon for a meager $29.99.  This is a great opportunity for those of you who haven’t experienced the game… especially if you’re looking to get the sequel when it drops.  Interesting game, I say.  It’s definitely on my “recommendations” list.
