David Jaffe Really Loves PlayStation VR; “Excited” to Work on a VR Game

David Jaffe is well known for having directed the first God of War, and is currently at the helm of The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency working on Drawn to Death. Apparently he’s now also a virtual reality believer after trying The London Heist at PlayStation Experience.

Yesterday, he followed up with further comments, after a few days without a headset on allowed him to think more on the subject.

It seems quite common for many gamers to find that one game that “sells” them on VR. For Jaffe it was The London Heist. For me it was Guerrilla Games’ RIGS to do the trick. Now, all we need is a release date and a price. Knock Knock, Sony?

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
