Today Koei Tecmo announced that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has passed nine million downloads including the free Core Fighters version.

In order to celebrate, the publisher is hosting an event that will let players enjoy sixteen female characters for free (for the moment, this is confirmed only for Japan, but it's likely to happen worldwide).

It's worth mentioning that Ii Naotora will be playable only on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

In other news, the crossover Attack on Titan DLC costumes will be discontinued today, so if you want to purchase them, you might want to grab them before they are gone.

Dead or Alive 5 was first released back in 2012, followed by the "Last Round" version in 2015, that marked its debut on the current generation, The free Core Fighters version was also launched in 2015.

It's also one of the games with the most DLC available on the market, and you check out a recent set and another published the month before. The game celebrated eight million downloads in January, so it's still going quite steadily despite its age.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
