Developers Psyop Games and IllFonic have announced a special open beta weekend for their upcoming zombie first person shooter Dead Alliance. The open beta will run through July 27, 2017 and end on July 31, 2017 across PC, Xbox One, and PS4. In addition to the announcement of the open beta weekend, the developers also released a new trailer, which can be seen below.

In the new trailer, which clocks in at two minutes and 33 seconds, the slightly humorous narrator goes over the different game modes available in the beta along with some strategies to help you survive the onslaught of zombies. During the open beta players will get to try out three of Dead Alliance's game modes; Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and the MOBA-inspired Attrition mode. There will be three maps across these modes that players can test out during the weekend. When the game fully launches on August 29, it will ship with a single player component and other multiplayer modes.

Dead Alliance is scheduled to release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on August 29, 2017. You can check out our preview of Dead Alliance where our very own Tomas Franzese went hands on with the zombie shooter at this years E3.
