Today, developer Behaviour Digital and publisher Starbreeze Studios announced that multiplayer (4vs1) horror game, Dead by Daylight, is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One both at retail via 505 Games and digitally on June 20th in North America and June 23rd in Europe for $29.99 USD, which is $10 more than it currently is on Steam.

As you may know, Dead by Daylight first released on PC back in June 2016. Since its launch, the game has sold an impressive 1.8 million plus copies on Steam.

The game is essentially a mature take on the thrills of Hide & Seek. More specifically, it's an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in which one crazed killer hunts four other players. If you're a survivor, you play from the third-person perspective; if you're killer you play in first-person perspective. Survivors can work together or act alone. The game boasts a dynamic environment that changes after every playthorugh, meaning players must always find new ways to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught and slaughtered.

As the killer, you can play as a powerful Slasher to a terrifying paranormal entity. Each killer has unique powers to hunt, catch, and kill their victims. Both killers and survivor also have their own deep progression system and plenty of unlockables that enable you to customize your killer/survivor to your liking.

Notably, the retail version of the game ships with the following extra content:

  • The Original Soundtrack
  • The 80’s Suitcase add-on
  • The Bloodstained Sack add-on
  • The Of Flesh and Mud chapter add-on
  • And a future DLC to be announced!

Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC.
