on November 14, 2011 2:45 PM

Those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the release of Dead Island’s first DLC pack will be pleased to know that it’s right around the corner. Originally delayed due to technical issues in the game itself, “Bloodbath Arena” will release next week on November 22 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.

Players who purchased the Pre-Order edition of the game will get the DLC for free. As for everyone else, that will be $9.99 (800 Microsoft points), please. The Bloodbath Arena features single- and multiplayer challenges against waves of zombies, the object of the game being to kill the hordes as quickly as possible and stay alive. Players can display and track their Bloodbath progress on the DLC pack’s leaderboards, transfer experience points and items earned in the DLC to the game’s campaign mode, and are treated to an exclusive weapons: the brain wave bomb.

Will you be getting this DLC?
