Dead or Alive 5 is Less than 20% Complete

on December 7, 2011 8:00 PM

There’s a reason we’ve only seen one trailer for Dead or Alive 5 since its Tokyo Game Show release, and that’s because Tecmo Koei has hardly done any real work on it yet. According to a translation of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu the title is merely 15% finished. You wouldn’t think that was enough for even a short game-play trailer, but they released one months ago.

Taking this into consideration with the game’s planned 2012 release date, we can assume that the game will not be available in Q1 or Q2 of next year. I’m officially betting that the release date will be no sooner than August of next year. Stay tuned for more details on the elusive Dead or Alive 5 as they become available.
