Team NINJA has just revealed new details about the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 Plus coming to the Vita, including a demo that will be available soon before the game's launch date on March 19th.

The biggest news is that the game will allow progress made in the demo to transfer over to the full game: this includes costumes and other content unlocked, effectively making this something more like Playstation Plus's Full Game Trial than an ordinary demo.

The demo will also allow players to try out the Cross Play features, which let gamers play on their Vita against gamers on the PS3. Players will also get to try out the first-person perspective Touch Fight feature with Kasumi, Hayabusa, Eliot, and Tina. There are also more than half a dozen stages available to try out.

In the full game, Dead or Alive 5 Plus will also allow players to set their own background music for each character, with each character--even the new ones--having their own selectable theme music.

A specific date for the demo will release soon, but I would venture a guess that it will be coming next Tuesday, when the Playstation Store updates, since just a week after is when Dead or Alive 5 Plus will release.
