Dead Space 3 will be getting some added functionality to take advantage of the Kinect for the Xbox 360. Players will be able to give voice commands to assist friends in the game’s co-op mode.

Using Kinect, gamers will be able to give health or ammo to each other, discover objectives, and revive each other. This combined with the drop-in and drop-out co-op gives more flexibility over how gamers will take on the various horrors and challenges in Dead Space 3.

Fans of the series have more to look forward to when the game releases on Februaury 5th in North America for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
