Dead Space: Ignition is becoming purchasable for $5 on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live (400 MS Points) this week and will serve as a prologue to Dead Space 2. In this title players will experience a "Choose Your Own Adventure" type of feel to the Dead Space universe with with what is said to be deep, fast-paced action. Anthony Johnston who wrote Wasteland and Daredevil is behind the story in Dead Space: Ignition and EA has now announced that the game will be available for free *from participating retailers such as the EA Store online for example*, if you pre-order Dead Space 2 which is releasing on January 25, 2011. Keep an eye out for this downloadable entry in the Dead Space series and when it hits, be ready for the madness. Given the Dead Space track-record, there should be plenty of dismemberment for all!
