5 Bits Games and Grip Digital announced today that they have released their first-person platformer DeadCore on PS4 and Xbox One today for $7.99.

For those who don’t know, DeadCore launched on PC back in October of 2014, and is a dark first person platformer that splices exploration, speedrunning and puzzles together, making for a really unique experience. The game begins with players having lost their memory and having awakened in a desolate world. Early on, players come across a gigantic tower and obtain a Switch Gun that they must use to enable or disable traps and robots to solve puzzles with as they climb up the tower.

Levels are very large and open, and have many hidden areas for players to find, where you can find “Sparks” that can be used to unlock new levels. Players can play in either solo mode or Spreedrun mode, which records one’s time going through a level and puts it on a leaderboard alongside other players. The trailer below shows off the game’s world a bit before moving on to a sizzle reel of gameplay showing DeadCore’s fast paced action.

You can watch the game’s launch trailer below. DeadCore is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
