Today Deep Down Producer Kazunori Sugiura posted a couple tweets in order to apologize for the lack of news on the beta in June which promised a while ago.

Producer Sugiura here. Details on the public beta test are likely to come in July. There's no excuse, as everyone was looking forward to the information. Rather than development circumstances, we're discussing with the higher ups the policies for the beta test.

As an apology, I'm attaching a screenshot of the game in development. It's a dungeon themed after the emotion of "Anger." I will report again in July.

You can see the screenshot just above. Unfortunately it's a bit small and it's not in full 1080p resolution, but it looks definitely awesome, showing a model of armor that we haven't see before. The ribbed plates look really awesome, giving the armor a very distinctive and realistic gothic look.

All we can do, besides gawking at the screenshot, is waiting for further news next month. Hopefully this time around we'll get some real ones.

Incidentally, below you can see an older screenshot (from Tokyo Game Show 2013) showing the same gateway and exactly the same environment portrayed in today's picture, giving a good look on how dungeons can change depending on the "feeling" that characterizes them.
