Small indie start-up, Silhouette Games, is seeking funding through Kickstarter for its first project.
History of the Demon Girl, a classically styled, two dimensional, side-scrolling, runner, is the brain child of developer Danny Mastrangelo, formerly of Square Enix.
“I wanted to make a game that was simple and fun, but also challenging and addictive,” said Mastrangelo. “History of the Demon Girl is a game that never makes you feel like a loser, but also constantly makes you want to play better.”
Players will guide the unintimidating demon-sprite Roku through the nine circles of hell. Collecting coins, while teleporting in between platforms and helping the other creatures she encounters along the way. With nine days left in its funding window, the game is still just less than $6000 from unlocking its pixelated potential.
The alpha version of the game is currently available for download.
