Demon’s Souls Servers Will Stay Up Due to “A Number of Developments”

Atlus USA was initially planning to drop online support for Demon’s Souls, the highly popular successor to Dark Souls, at the end of May. However, apparently “a number of developments” has made it possible to extend online support for the game.

The press release did not mention if the end date had been moved back or if they would remain open until further notice, but they did say that they are proud to to have the players who “invest in and support us and Demon’s Souls.” So, if you’re a fan of the game and still continue to play it, you’ll be able to enjoy its unique online experience past May 31st.
