Despite This Trailer, I Am Shamelessly Looking Forward to Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures

on September 9, 2011 9:00 PM

I got to see Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures at E3, and I won’t lie: I liked it. A lot, actually. It’s a camping game catered towards children, with all the minigames we’ve come to love from the Cooking Mama core series, but the addition of RPG elements to the gameplay really made it seem like a game that was worth playing.

And even after this painful new “Sing-a-Long” trailer, I still remain optimistic about the quality of the game. Check it out, and please don’t let it sway your mind otherwise.

Yeeeaaaah, that’s no bueno. But trust me, the actual game felt pretty good! We’ll hopefully have a review for you guys when this thing drops on September 13 for the Nintendo DS.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
