Destiny: The Taken King Raid Won’t Be Available on Day One

The Taken King, the latest and largest expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is launching on September 15, 2105. The new expansion adds new weapons, story missions, increases the level cap and includes a new raid called ‘The King’s Fall’. It seems now however, that the newest raid will not be playable the same day the rest of the content is available.

Raids in Destiny are team-based missions that require a great deal of skill, planning and time. “The King’s Fall” is most likely a high-level mission and may have been delayed to give players more time to level up their characters. However, no reason is given for the delay and no estimate of the raid’s release has been offered, even if Bungie apparently already know when it will be released.

Destiny: The Taken King will be available on September 15, 2015.
