Destiny’s Servers Are Now Online and Available; Welcome, Guardians – First Xbox One Livestream Inside

on September 8, 2014 7:47 AM

While Destiny will launch tomorrow (or tonight, for those that are getting a digital copy or are planning to attend a midnight opening), the servers for the game are going up today, or more precisely, they have just gone up and are now available to anyone that managed to grab an early physical copy of the game or live in New Zealand.

If you still don’t have a copy of the game ready to go, you can join the millions who will spend the next few hours pacing back and forth in front of their PlayStation or Xbox, counting sheeps, or manically watching the hilarious live action trailer over and over. You can also check out one of the first streams on Xbox One just below, courtesy of Twitch user Jjag72.

If the wait is finally over for you, welcome to the last bastion of humanity, Guardian (after you download a quick day one update).

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
