Capcom developer Hideaki Itsuno, known for being the Director of Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 2 and Dragon's Dogma (including its expansion Dark Arisen) took to Twitter today to provide some good news.Alongside his new year wishes, Itsuno-san mentioned that he's working hard to announce a new game in 2017.

Keep in mind, before you get extremely hyped for this, that there is no firm indication that the game to be announced by Itsuno-san belongs to either franchises mentioned above.

During his long career he also directed fighting classics like Power Stone and Power Stone 2, and my personal favorites Rival Schools and its sequel, Project Justice.

As a matter of fact, a new game of the Justice Gakuen series (which Itsuno-san mentioned in the past, alongside the possibility of new Dragon's Dogma and Devil May Cry games) would make me extremely happy.

Of course, this is all simply my personal speculation, and we'll have to wait and see what the announcement will be about.
