It is finally here. Fans had been clamoring for it for months now, ever since HD collections became a regular thing. Today Capcom has announced that Dante is back in a Devil May Cry HD Collection, coming to both the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.

The collection will include Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition. The special edition was a re released game with added bonus content such as a Bloody Palace Mode which made a comeback in the fourth game, and the ability to play as fan favorite Vergil.

The collection will be priced at $39.99 in the US and will be released sometime in early 2012. The first Devil May Cry sold over 10 million copies and for good reasons. This is a great way for Xbox owners to play through such classics of the action genre.

Isshak started gaming with the NES, and has owned almost every console since then. He was born in Togo, grew up in Benin, studied in the US and now goes to college in France! You don't get more international than that, and his weird cultural background is reflected in his favorite games, which range from Final Fantasy to Bit Trip Runner to Dead Space to Deus Ex!
