Publisher Devolver Digital has announced a brand new game called Spaceplan.

Not much is known about the game. We know it's being developed by Jake Hollands, with the audio being made by Logan Gabriel. One of the only things we know about it, is that it involves firing potatoes at planets, the passage of time, and Steven Hawking.

"An experimental piece of interaction based partly on a total misunderstanding of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time."

You can watch the official announcement trailer below, but be warned, it's 40 minutes long. If you don't feel like watching it, we have included a few phrases from the trailer:

  • Spaceplan began it's life as a free web prototype
  • It's still out there on the internet
  • But this version is better
  • It's a game about discovery, about patience, about potatoes

We have also included screenshots from the game at the bottom of the page.

Spaceplan will be released on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Steam. At the time of this writing, there is no release date except that it's coming soon. There is also no price listed either. If you want to check out the mysterious game's website, you can click here.
