Devolver Digital teased a new game for the Nintendo Switch on their Twitter account today. No other information was given about the game other than it will potentially release later this year and that more news will be revealed at GDC.

The biggest question about this mystery game is whether or not it will be a new IP or rather a port of an already existing game. Devolver Digital is one of the most highly regarded indie publishers in the industry and they have a massive catalogue of games to choose from if they decide to port a game over to the new Nintendo console. Some of the biggest titles from Devolver Digital include LuftrausersEnter the GungeonHatoful BoyfriendTitan SoulsBroforce, Not a Hero, and many, many others.

On a personal note, I’d love nothing more than to see either the original Hotline Miami, or its sequel, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, come to the Switch. These are two of my favorite games from Devolver Digitial and I thought they played perfectly on the PlayStation Vita. The transition to Switch would make a lot of sense and I’d gladly play through either of them once again if given the opportunity.

GDC 2017 is right around the corner and will take place from February 27 to March 3. Be sure to pay attention during that week to learn more about just what this mystery game is.
