Diablo III Beta Players Access Three Restricted Areas After Exploiting Bug

on March 13, 2012 6:00 PM

Get a bunch of gamers together, especially those who specialize in PCs, and rest assured that shenanigans will ensue. Well, that’s exactly what happened when players found a bug in Diablo III that granted them access to three levels not intended to be played in the beta: the Drowned Temple, Fields of Misery and the Festering Woods.

We’ve got one of the longer videos embedded for you after the jump. Watch as this guy makes it into the Fields of Misery and squares off against Moon Clan Warriors, Wood Wraiths and other beasts. Blizzard has since patched the holes, so if you were a beta player who didn’t get into these areas through the bug, looks like you’re out of luck. But at least you can watch all these videos online, right?
