Battlefield 4 has launched today, and gamers everywhere will be celebrating its shooter frenzy and chaotic action...but, they might have to wait just a short while before doing so, specifically with a day one patch begin released for the title.

DICE today released the "Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Update 1" patch, which comes in at 119.21MB and supposedly addresses bugs and concerns with the game's multiplayer component. While details of what fixes are included in the update have not yet been released, it is apparently important enough that DICE has urged Battlefield 4 players to download the update. Specifically, DICE mentioned:

"This Battlefield 4 update contains improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game. We strongly advise you download it."

While it's unclear what exactly the patch fixes, the ~120MB download shouldn't be too much of a task in order to get a more stable Battlefield 4 multiplayer experience.

Battlefield 4 releases today on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, followed by releases on PS4 (November 15th, 2013) and Xbox One (November 22nd, 2013) for their respective console launches.
