Today, the European arm of Bandai Namco released a new batch of gameplay of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory.

The gameplay in English showcases "Domination Battles," that were introduced back in May. Basically, they are turf wars fought to take control of a server domain in the digital world.

Domination battles are fairly different from normal combat, as they take place on a grid, and require a more tactical approach. In order to win, players have to reach 30 points by conquering squares, and if one gets contested, a Digimon battle ensues.

The video actually shows a tutorial, so you'll get a detailed explanation on how things will work.

Of course the "English" part means just text, as there is no voice acting here. It's all old dear reading.

You can check out the full video below, and if you want to see more, you can also watch more gameplay in Japanese (including a similar video), read more on Domination Battles, check out recent screenshots showing part of the female cast, and the first trailer.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017 in Japan, and early next year in North America and Europe.
