Bandai Namco released new details for their upcoming RPG Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017 in Japan and in 2018 in North America and Europe.

The details cover a few new characters that the player will encounter throughout the story, Yuugo, Arata Sanada, and Ryuji Mishima. Yuuho is a the leader of the hacker group called Zaxon who fights against rival group Jude, lead by the former hacker Arata Sanada.

In addition to the character screenshots, the publisher details the "Domination Battle", which is a battle between a group of hackers over a server domain in the digital world. These battles will take place in a strategy game-like system where two teams will fight over the network area.

Hacker’s Memory will tell a new story from the point of view of a new protagonist during the events of the previous entry. However, this new protagonist is “not a hero chosen to save the world”. After being accused of a crime he didn’t commit, the main protagonist will need to enter the digital world and join the ranks of hackers in order to clear his name.
