Since it’s that time of week again, the latest Dengeki PlayStation has confirmed that Nippon Ichi is in the process of porting Disgaea 3 over to Sony’s new handheld platform and retitling it Disgaea 3 Returns. While we don’t know much, we do know that this port will include four new scenarios, two new characters and all the DLC that has come out for Disgaea 3 sinec it’s launch on the PlayStation 3 back in 2008. Of further interest is that this title will be available in playable form at the Tokyo Game Show next month.

A deep, quirky SRPG is just what handhelds need, and it’s nice to see JRPG developers willing to support the PlayStation Vita as much as they’ve supported the PSP in the past.
