Nippon Ichi revealed today that the first Disgaea title would be heading for Steam in February 2016.

A new Steam page for the game features a summary of the plot and the basics of gameplay, as well as some of the new additions to the port:

  • Updated UI and textures
  • Keyboard/Mouse and controller support
  • Includes all content from Disgaea: Afternoons of Darkness, a PSP version of the PS2 game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness released in 2006.
  • New Steam features, such as
  • Achievements, Cloud Saves, Badges, and trading cards

Hopefully following enough interest for the first Disgaea will lead to the release of the next titles in the series for PC.
