Arkane Studios’ Dishonored Definitive Edition launched today for the PS4 and Xbox One, but what did the developer do to take advantage of the PS4’s DualShock 4 features ?

Harvey Smith and Raf Colantonio, Dishonored’s co-creative directors, answered a couple of questions concerning the use of the DualShock 4. They also gave players tips on how to use advanced techniques in the game.

“We’ve utilized some PS4 features. Most notably, you’ll hear game sounds through the controller’s speaker such as the Power whispers, the sibylline voice of the Heart, and the use of the Spyglass.” Harvey said.

We’ve also enabled PS Vita Remote Play, as well as use of DualShock 4’s Touch Pad for use of the ‘Heart’ for Corvo and “Void Gaze” for Daud.” Raf added.

“You can jump off a high building and Possess a guard or other character on the street below, as you’re falling, and you won’t take any falling damage.” Raf continued.

Dishonored Definitive Edition launched today in North America for the Xbox One and PS4, with the European version launching on August 28. Check out the launch trailer below:

My main and favorite thing to do in my life is play video games on my PS4 and admire the work that has been done in each game whether it's an AAA or an indie. Games are games no matter how many people develop it, it's the passion and hard work behind it. I am a crazy fan of Game of Thrones and love to read National Geographic magazines.
