Today Divinity: Original Sin overtook its funding goal of $400,000 on Kickstarter, ensuring that new content and complexity will be added to the game before it will be shipped this winter. At the moment of this writing the funding total is sitting onĀ $409,534, and with 16 days to go there’s plenty time to reach some of the stretch goals.

On top of that Larian Studios confirmed that the game will indeed be released on Mac and Linux in addition to the initially promised PC version.

Below you can see a video that summarizes what the money raised with Kickstarter will be used for, and concludes with a rather crowded expression of the studio’s gratitude. In the meanwhile, since the campaign is far from finished, you can still pledge your support for the game here.
