Activision has officially announced that this fall DJ Hero 2 will make your living the coolest club in the neighborhood. To celebrate the announcement, they have even released a mix early to get gamers excited – and who’s more exciting then Lady Gaga!

From June 8-14, you can download a mix of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” and Deadmau5’s “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff from the Xbox LIVE marketplace and the Playstation Store. These are just two of the new artists announced for DJ Hero 2. Other artists include Dr. Dre, The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Metallica, Rihanna and 85 others for a total of over 70 mixes. Another added bonus is the addition of more multiplayer modes including DJ Battles and the addition of vocals. A player can now do in game singing or rapping to go along with the Party Play gameplay. So, that means we need a new bundle, right? The Party Bundle, will include the game, two turntables and a microphone; everything needed to get the full Dj Hero experience.

In my opinion, this all should have been included in the first DJ Hero, I mean how could they come out with something with no Gaga. Hopefully, we can get a decent DJ stand also, so I don’t have to go back to 7-11 and use old milk cartoons. The price tag also has not been announced, so we will have to wait and see how much this will cost the average gamer. I really, enjoyed the first DJ Hero, especially if there were people over and we just wanted some party music. I have a feeling that Activision will learn from the mistakes of the first one, and make this the DJ Hero we were all hoping for.
