Several reports have been submitted to EA Sports about their FIFA 16 Beta becoming corrupted on the PS4 during download. The PS4 can download while in Rest mode which is used by almost all users of the console to save consumed energy and sometimes to charge their DualShock 4 in the process.

Although, putting your PS4 in Rest mode, may result in corruption of the FIFA 16 Beta data download, EA Sports have released a simple fix to this problem. The fix is simply just leaving your PS4 to download in Normal mode and make sure to increse your Time Until PS4 Turns Off enough to cover the duration of the download. It can be accessed through Power Save Settings in the Settings.

FIFA 16 Beta's download issue isn't something we usually see and I hope we don't see any download issues with those who buy it digitally through the store when the full version of FIFA 16 launches on September 22 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
