Don’t Drink Soda Or Hit Each Other…Play Double Dragon Neon On Steam!

The 80’s have been coming back in a storm of reboots and homages, but perhaps none as much as WayForward Technologies and Majesco Entertainment’s Double Dragon Neon. Now publisher Midnight City has announced, via the 80’s flashback trailer below, that the game will be coming to PC soon, via Steam.

The game is as much a reboot of the classic franchise as it is a love letter to the 80’s, bringing back the Beat ’em Up genre and adorning it with the titular neon colors, fashion and tone of the 80’s. The game allowed players to unlock new moves and abilities and utilize a special high-five that split and shared life meters to an equal amount.

Double Dragon Neon was previously released to the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles with mixed reviews. Whether this PC version is coming with any new features or content is unknown as of yet, but stay tuned for more radically bodasious Double Dragon news. Also check out the Midnight City website for more indie PC gaming releases.
