Bethesda has decided to release DOOM's final piece of DLC, Bloodfall, early this week. The content is available right now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The third and final DLC pack for the game, it brings three new maps ("Empyrain", "Boneyard", and "Outbreak"), a grenade launcher, and the Cultist armor set to multiplayer, in addition to new hack modules, equipment, and customization patterns.

Players will also be able to transform into "Spectre Pinky", which the company describes as "a fan favorite demon whose signature invisibility tactic allows you to sneak up on enemy players."

A Double XP Weekend event was also announced, starting today and lasting until Monday.

DOOM received a sizable update just a week ago, which introduced bots to both Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch modes, multiplayer rank Echeleon 11, with the added perk of unlocking “Marine Armor” once you’ve achieved the feat, and a new competitive mode, “Infernal Run."

Since fans were given double multiplayer XP then too, it seems like Bethesda really wants players to reach that new rank.
