It’s been quite some time since players last journeyed back into the pits of hell, though the release of DOOM this May will bring it back in style, and players that pre-order the game will also get to experience the original classics as bonuses with the new game.
The Xbox Games Store has updated its page for the upcoming reboot DOOM that players that pre-order the Xbox One version of the game will be able to get backwards compatible copies of the original classics, DOOM and DOOM 2, with purchases of the game.
Players that pre-order the title through the Xbox Games Store will receive codes for the original two DOOM titles within 7-10 days of their pre-order, with the codes being delivered to players’ message inbox on Xbox Live. Codes can either be redeemed through the Xbox Games Store or on the official Xbox website.
In addition to the backwards compatible titles, players that pre-order will also receive the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which features an additional Demon-themed armor set, along with three skin variations, six Hack Modules, six exclusive metallic paint colors, and three special logo patterns for weapons and armor modeled after iD software.
