Luigi Pops Pills in 2014 With Dr. Luigi On The Wii U

Nearly a year ago Nintendo declared that 2013 was “The Year of Luigi,” following up with several games starring the younger Mario brother. After declaring that 2014 would continue Luigi’s time in the spotlight, it seems we have our first taste of Luigi in 2014, with the introduction of Dr. Luigi.

As you can see in the trailer below, there are four ways to play:

Operation L introduces new L-shaped pills; Virus Buster includes Wii U gamepad action; Retro Remedy brings back the classic pill-dropping gameplay of Dr. Mario; and Multiplayer brings back the fun of head to head pill-popping with local and online gameplay.

Dr. Luigi will be only available on the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U. For more on the younger, green-loving Mario brother, check out all of our Luigi news, and check out the trailer and screenshots below.
