One of the highlights of the recent Battlefield 4 was the announcement that the game would be running on the previously unannounced Frostbite 3 engine. General manager of both BioWare Edmonton and Montreal, Aaryn Flynn, added on Twitter, "for everyone who's been asking after the #BF4 reveal, #DA3 and the next Mass Effect are also using Frostbite 3. It's awesome." It sure is some news that makes your imagination run wild.

Dragon Age III: Inquisition is expected to be released around the end of this year, while the next entry in the Mass Effect 4 is only confirmed to  be in early stages of development, the earliest possible unveiling of the title could come as early as this year. Originally, both games were confirmed to be utilizing the Frostbite 2 engine (Battlefield 3, Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel); possibly for the basis of development.
