Dragon Age: Inquisition First on Xbox DLC “Helps Us Get Content Out Earlier than We Normally Would”

Back at E3, Microsoft announced that Dragon Age: Inquisition would have “Premiere Add-On Content Coming to Console First on Xbox,” but not much has been shared about the nature of said content. Bioware Edmonton GM Aaryn Flynn gave a little more color on it while interviewed by Xbox Live’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb.

It’s great for us to be able to bring out additional content for Dragon Age, even though it’s a really big game, there’s always new opportunities in the universe to tell more stories and to present interesting new things. It’s nice because this helps us get content out earlier that we normally would, so that’s exciting.

I can’t talk about the little details of what you’re gonna do in this adventure yet, but it is pretty cool. I think people are going to appreciate it as even more to do in the Dragon Age Universe especially inside Inquisition.

I guess focusing on a platform could speed up development, but at least now we know that the “premiere content” is going to be an adventure, which is much better than nothing.
